Right after I got paid last month, I went to Sushiemon AEON MALL KOBE MINAMI .
I rewarded myself for hard work over the past month by eating my favorite sushi.

Thereafter, I worked and studied for another month,

Like last month, I decided to reward myself for hard work by eating my favorite food.

I visited this time, Yakiniku Dining One Karubi Taisho Branch .

In fact, I, hiikun, had never visited One Karubi.
It must have been in business for quite some time.
But I kept thinking, “It’s so close, I could always go there”.
In the end, I never went until now.

I had a craving for eating yakiniku grilled meat.
I had been interested in it, so I decided to visit this reastaurant this time.

What is Yakiniku Dining One Karubi ?


Yakiniku Dining One Karubi is operated by One Dining Co,
which is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.

It has some restaurants in the Kansai region and Tokyo metropolitan areas, as well as in Kyushu and Okinawa.

 

According to the official website,
the company has established a cooperative system between “meat professionals” and producers.
It tries to provide a stable supply of high quality meat on a daily basis.

Also, in order to provide fresh and delicious meat,
they are so thorough that they change the way they cut the meat depending on each part.

They spare no effort in cleaning and maintaining the cooking utensils and the inside of the restaurant.
Moreover, a “qualification technology test” is conducted every six months,
They are working hard to improve their skills.

They focus on not only meat
but also side dishes such as salads, rice, soups, noodles, and desserts.

 

【Two hours of happiness in your life. 】

 

That’s the famous slogan of One Karubi.
I knew it although I had never been there.

In the limited time of two hours,
in order to create a space for customers to have a wonderful time through yakiniku,
it seems that they run the restaurants with the utmost care and attention.

This time, I went to
Yakiniku Dining One Karubi Taisho Restaurant .

This is the first time for me to visit and I am very much looking forward to it.

I would like to see if what is written on the website is actually true.
Most of all, I want to enjoy yakiniku grilled meat for the first time in months.

Let’s take a look at the dishes I ate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The food items I had.

Now let’s take a look at the actual items I, hiikun, had.

One Karubi offers four main all-you-can-eat courses (all are two-hour courses).
You can place orders up to 30 minutes before the end of the course.

I, hiikun chose “Gyushiotan zenpin tabehoudai course” /All-you-can-eat beef salt tongue course (¥5,285/tax included) .
In addition to eating yakiniku barbecued meat and all the sides,
I am happy to see that my favorite beef salt tongue is included in this course.

 

The waiter will come to pick up your course order.
For first time visitors,
they properly explain their services.
You can place orders by using the tablet terminals provided at each table.

 


The restaurant had only seating for six people.
I, hiikun, went alone,
so I was able to comfortably use the large table seating.

 

The first two I got were the beef salt tongue andgarlic salt beef tongue.

 

I always start my yakiniku with beef tongue.
In no time at all, the beef salt tongue was ready.
The saltiness is perfect.
I enjoyed eating the delicious beef tongue served with lemon juice.

 


When I finished the “gyu shiotan” beef salt tongue,
“Ninniku shio gyutan” garlic salt beef tongue was ready.
Garlic and beef salt tongue are a perfect match.
I ate them in no time.

 

This is the “Red Salad with Crab, Beets and Nuts” .
Considering health,
even if I come to a yakiniku barbecue restaurant,
I need vegetables.

I finished eating beef tongue.
After refreshing my mouth with the salad,
finally, I move on to the three meats I most wanted to eat.

 

The next thing I ordered was・・・
These are the three meats I most wanted to try at One Karubi.

Atsugiri jo rohsu steak(Thick-cut top loin steak)
It already looks delicious even before it is grilled.

 

Harami Outside Skirt Steak
~With Truffle Sauce~
I love harami skirt steak.
But I was more interested in the truffle sauce, so I ordered it.

 

One Karubi
It is the signature menu item of “One Karubi”, which uses the name of the restaurant as the name of the product .

 


It looks vibrant and appetizing.

 


Now let’s grill them.

 


They have been grilled in a good way.
I noticed one thing while grilling meat.
That is, the amount of smoke emitted from the roaster is less than expected.
I guess it’s designed so that the amount of smoke can be reduced. In addition, it is probably because of the thorough ventilation.
The restaurant was not filled with smoke at all.

 


Completion is imminent.
Use the shears provided.
Cut into bite-size pieces.

 


Now, the meat is done.
Let’s start with the “One Karubi”.

 


Delicious ♪
It is tender and juicy.
There are some cuts on the surface of the meat,
so it is easier to heat.
Besides, thanks to the slit, the sauce is well incorporated into the meat.

 

Next, I had the harami outside skirt steak.
Needless to say, the meat is delicious.
More than that, the truffle sauce was delicious.

The aroma of truffles is subtle.
It enhances the flavor of the harami skirt steak.

 

Next, I had the thick-cut top loin steak.
Same as the previous two,
it was tender, juicy and very tasty.

With these three kinds of meat and beef tongue,
already my impression toward “One Karubi” has risen sharply.

 


Burnt garlic-scented stone-roasted garlic rice
When you eat meat, you want rice.
Rice is an essential part of yakiniku. So I ordered “Stone-roasted garlic rice with the aroma of roasted garlic”.

I was wondering about white rice.
I ordered this garlic rice because it looked delicious.

I actually ate it and it was delicious.
However, I should have charred it a bit more before eating it.

I don’t blame the clerk at all.

I was interested in the attention to detail.

 

Speaking of yakiniku,
It is wakame seaweed soup.
It goes great with garlic rice.

 


The next three meats I had were these.

 


It is garlic salt top minnow.
This is “Niniku shio jo mino “(Garlic salt top rumen). I am not a fan of organ meat,
but, somehow, I like Mino rumen.
I love the crunchy texture.

 


Top loin and tender hara-mi.
The standard yakiniku menu, loin and outside skirt.
Among them, I had these two varieties which I was interested in, top loin and tender outside skirt meat.

 


Now, let’s grill the garlic salt top mino rumen.

Oh, I forgot to mention one thing.
To the right of the garlic salt top mino, it is beef bone soup with plenty of vegetables and meat.
It is cooked meat with plenty of vegetables in beef bone broth.

Beef and vegetables are tapped in a heat-resistant aluminum container.
It is served after slow cooking on the roaster.

 


It has been finished in a good way.

 


Vegetable-cooked meat in beef bone broth is ready.

 


You can eat meat and vegetables at the same time.
Recommended for the health-conscious.

The taste is not as strong as it appears.
It is rather light.

 


The garlic salt top mino is also ready.
The surface should have been a little more crispy.
But the taste is perfect.

Nevertheless, this garlic salt sauce is really addictive.

 

I spent some time grilling the top loin and tender outside skirt meat
Then after that, I soak them in plenty of sauce and ate them.

I still had a little garlic rice left.
I had these pieces of meat with it.

Yakiniku and rice,
Why are they so compatible?

 


The remaining time is marked on the tablet device, so you don’t have to worry.

I am getting full.

It is time to have the closing dessert.

I may be overreacting,
but it is so good that it could have been served in a high-end sweet store.
“Is this really a dessert offered by a barbecue restaurant?”
I doubted.

The cake is served after being tossed with vanilla ice cream and frozen fruit.
Oh, it’s delicious!

My stomach was already full of meat, though,
I always have room for dessert.
I was able to eat it without difficulty.

I did not expect to eat such a perfect dessert to close the meal.

What I felt

Here I, hiikun, will tell you what I actually felt while or after dining at “One Karubi”.
There are three main points.
Let’s look at them in order.

About the restaurant

I don’t know because I have never been to other stores of One Karubi.
As for the Taisho store, it is surprisingly deep and spacious.
As far as I could see, this restaurant only had seating for six.

I was also impressed that the restaurant was kept very clean.

The tables, roasters, and tablet devices used for ordering are kept clean.
Of course, the same goes for tongs and scissors.
It was well prepared to welcome guests at any time.

After the two guests who were eating near me had left,
The employees spent quite a bit of time doing the cleaning work.
They probably do so every time customers leave.
We feel their spirit of welcoming the next customer in the best condition.

 

 

 

 

Also, I, hiikun, was most impressed with the timing of replacing a net.
Naturally, the nets become dirty over time.

I was thinking, “Maybe it’s time to have it replaced.”
The employee offered to replace the net.

Before the customers tell them,
It is very nice to see them be able to act for the customer.

Except for limited time offerings and lunch menu items,
there are four types of all-you-can-eat courses.

The price is 5,258 yen including tax.
Whether you think this price is expensive or cheap is up to you.

Considering the taste, the amount and variety of each dish offered,
as for me hiikun, it is a fair price.

Although I can’t eat it every day or every week,
it is rather reasonable to enjoy this once-a-month luxury.

Compared to a single order,
I was able to enjoy my meal for about half the price.

Customer Service

As soon as I entered the restaurant,
the staff greeted me with loud voices.

The explanation of the course content when ordering was also easy to understand.
They answered my questions in a friendly and polite manner without being obnoxious.

Employees are constantly patrolling the restaurant.
As soon as they find used plates,
the employees collected them immediately.

Thanks to that, the table was not cluttered.
I was in a good mood and enjoyed my meal.

Including the replacement of the nets I mentioned earlier,
Before the customers tell them,
It is very nice to see them be able to act for the customer.

There are also newcomers who have obviously just started working.
They showed good workmanship.

Even if it’s a little awkward.
customer service that conveys hard work
really strikes me.

Even when I was leaving,
they saw me off with loud and cheerful voices.

The restaurant was extremely vibrant.

I think it is because
the staff members works hard for customers

How to get there

Please take Osaka City Bus
to go to the restaurant.

Please take the same route as when visiting the ramen restaurant “Ramen Ko-san”, introduced in the previous articule,

Please take a bus bound for “Tsurumachi 4-chome”, “Nishifunamachi”, and “Subway Suminoe Koen”. from Taisho Station on JR Osaka Loop Line and Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line.
Please get off at the “Chishima” stop.
It takes less than 10 minutes to get there unless you are caught in a heavy traffic jam.

The bus bound for “Tsurumachi 4-chome” at the “Taishobashi” No. 2 stop.
Of the buses with the three destinations listed above, the number of buses bound for “Tsurumachi 4-chome” is by far the most common.
So you can be sure to get on this one.

 

You can also take the bus bound for “Nishifunamachi” or “Subway Suminoe Koen” that comes to the stop marked with a yellow circle.
However, please do not get on express buses, IKEA buses
and the buses that arrive at or depart from the stops marked with a red cross.


After arriving at the Chishima stop,
follow the red arrows as shown on the map above.

It is also possible to walk from Taisho Station.
It takes at least 20 minutes.

Some gourmet websites say that the nearest station is not Taisho station
but Nankai Shiomibashi Line Kizugawa station.

It is never wrong.
It is possible to actually head to the store from there, though.
I do not recommend that route.

 

Here is a view of the Kizugawa Station area.
There are hardly any buses, cabs, or even ordinary cars on the road.
As you can see, there are few people.
It takes a lot of courage to walk around this area at night.

Incidentally,
it is said to be an unexplored station in Osaka City.
It is so well known that it has been featured by railroad and travel YouTubers.

Anyway,
It is safe to take a bus, cab, or walk from Taisho Station.
